MetFest 2017 recap
MetFest 2017 was held in Parkes during November, and graciously hosted by Northparkes Mine (CMOC). The day kicked off with a plant tour of the Northparkes concentrator, which was attended by 23 visitors from all over the country. The inaugural Kalgoorlie Branch’s MetFest is happening! Kalgoorlie is hosting a four-day long program from Tuesday 17 October to Friday 20 October 2017. AusIMM Kalgoorlie Branch hosts successful MetFest
The AusIMM Kalgoorlie Branch recently had the pleasure of hosting the inaugural Kalgoorlie MetFest, which was a series of professional development and networking activities held from 17-20 October. The challenge was laid down to the Branch by the AusIMM Metallurgical Society to hold an event similar to the Central West MetFest held each year by the AusIMM Lachlan Branch in NSW. 2017 G D Delprat Distinguished Lecture Series
The AusIMM Metallurgical Society is very pleased to report that the 2017 G D Delprat Distinguished Lecturer is the greatly respected metallurgist Dr Robert Dunne.
