Important and exciting changes to the AusIMM Bulletin

  • By Dominic Stevenson, Editor, AusIMM Bulletin

As part of AusIMM’s ongoing digital transformation, we’re making some important and exciting changes to the AusIMM Bulletin.

We’re moving to a digital-first approach and as part of this AusIMM Members and Fellows will receive six digital editions and two print editions of the Bulletin in 2020.

Update – April 2020: Due to the level of industry disruption and uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, the first print edition of the Bulletin has been put on hold. In light of this, the decision has been made to distribute this edition to members in digital format only. This allows us to provide content directly to readers and keep articles as relevant as possible during rapidly changing circumstances. We are revising distribution dates for the hard copy of the Bulletin for 2020 and will keep readers updated.

The digital edition is a curated reading experience delivered straight to readers inboxes.

The digital editions provide readers with quick and easy access to the latest industry news and feature articles, while the print Bulletin will continue to provide in-depth stories.

While the curated and delivered digital Bulletin edition is a membership benefit for AusIMM Members and Fellows, all members, including Students and Associates, can read online Bulletin articles at

We are determined to ensure the Bulletin retains its position as a highly respected and widely-read publication for people in the resources sector. While the format is changing, the Bulletin will still contain exclusive feature stories, latest industry news, and profiles of leaders shaping our sector.

For more than 80 years the Bulletin has helped readers stay connected to the issues that matter. This is the next exciting chapter of our journey as we lead the way for people in resources. We look forward to sharing more great stories with you.
